Screen-Shot-2014-07-03-at-11.07.55-AM-e1404400104617“As part of its Wellness@Work program, Heffernan Insurance Brokers recently launched a bike program effort. The firm now has a number of bicycles available to employees during office hours in its Walnut Creek, California headquarters and Menlo Park branch,” according to Business and Legal Resources.

“The program was launched with assistance from Sports Basement, which customized the discounted bikes for the company’s needs and donated the time to assemble them.”

“The bike program coincides with a number of bike outings sponsored by the company in recent months. As a fitness and team building activity, several departments participated in mountain bike outings, which included instruction sessions on safe biking and guided rides. If successful, the program will be rolled out to the company’s other branch offices.”

Thank you so much Dr. Ashley and Kay for coming to Heart of the City Dental for a lunch and learn. We all benefited from the talk on ergonomics, enjoyed the massage and lunch and found the posture check to be enlightening. Special Olympics Minnesota invited Dr. James to our workplace to provide a professional development seminar. Healthy living and wellness is a very important focus for our athletes and staff so we appreciate receiving innovative information from experts. Dr. James was very e…
A few months ago I met Kay on the golf course. Who knew spinning a wheel would change my lifestyle. After winning a complementary Workplace Wellness visit for our company it gave me a new way of thinking about seeing a chiropractor. I have to admit; at first I was in it for the free lunch, but when Kay, Dr. James, and Dr. Ashley visited us it was far more than just a lunch. Everyone at our office enjoyed learning more about healthy choices that we should be making and knowing some of the comm…
I have been working with Kay Grobel for about two years. In that time, I’ve witnessed Kay adapt into the best chiropractic and wellness marketing director I have even seen. My practice has shown remarkable growth that has been sustainable and continual since day one. She has an incredible personality that makes her approachable and fun to work with. She is a great representation of what true wellness is all about. I would recommend anyone in need of chiropractic or wellness marketing go t…
Finish Line’s team is simply fantastic. Their presentation was informative, humorous and delightful. The shakes they provided were absolutely delicious. We have had many other speakers in our office, but Finish Line was something special. Our employees were engaged like I have never seen them before! I would highly recommend your next wellness presentation to be by Finish Line. They are a highly professional and intelligent group of people!
I found the session to be rather informative in regards to items found in foods and what to try to avoid. And which types of foods are better for our bodies. I am really looking forward to making some of the foods from the recipes that were given us – 10 items needed.
Kay was very helpful with setting up the event. I had many options on the topic and they were very flexible with the date and time. Jeff came and did his presentation which was very well planned out and I received a lot of very positive feedback. They brought sandwich wraps, healthy snacks, and water for everyone. I had to leave a few minutes before the end of the presentation, but I was told that people really liked it. The one thing was at the end, I believe just his last few slides promoted…
